AI-Proofing: Invisible Visual Noise

Beyond stripping metadata, the Shredder injects imperceptible visual noise into ~5% of pixels (±2 RGB values — invisible to the human eye). This noise disrupts AI facial recognition, reverse image search, and image scraper bots. Your photo looks identical, but machine learning models cannot reliably process it.

How We Strip Metadata — The Scorched Earth ProtocolDEEP DIVE

We use a “Scorched Earth” protocol. Instead of deleting individual tags, we regenerate the file from scratch:

  1. Decode: Raw pixel data (RGBA) is extracted from your image.
  2. Reconstruct: Those pixels are painted onto a blank HTML5 Canvas.
  3. Export: A brand-new file is created from the canvas — no legacy container, no legacy data.

Result: a 100% new file with zero Exif, IPTC, XMP, ICC Profiles, or embedded thumbnails. There is nothing left to strip because the original container no longer exists.
