Fill a PDF form without uploading it

Type into a fillable PDF's text fields, checkboxes, and dropdowns, then save. Everything happens on your device.

How it works

  1. Drop a fillable PDF — every text field, checkbox, radio button, and dropdown appears as a plain input.
  2. Fill it in. Required fields are marked.
  3. Choose whether to flatten the form (locks the values in, makes it uneditable) or leave it editable.
  4. Click Save — the filled PDF downloads straight to your device.

Frequently asked questions

Does this upload my PDF anywhere?

No. The form is read and filled entirely in your browser — there's no upload and no server round trip. That matters for tax forms, medical intake forms, applications, and anything else with personal information.

What if the PDF has no fillable fields?

This tool only works with real AcroForm fields — the kind you can already click into in Adobe Reader. If a PDF has no fillable fields at all (it's just a scanned or flat document), this tool can't help; that's a different problem (stamping text onto a flat page), not form filling.

What does "Flatten" do, and should I check it?

Flattening bakes your entered values into the page permanently and makes the form uneditable afterward — useful when you're about to email or print the completed form and don't want the recipient accidentally changing it. It's irreversible, so leave it unchecked if you or someone else might need to edit the answers later.

Can I fill a password-protected PDF form?

Yes, if you have the password — it's used locally to unlock the file and never leaves your device.

Will the filled-in values show up correctly in every PDF viewer?

Yes — the tool regenerates each field's visual appearance after filling it, which is the step some simpler tools skip. Skipping it is a common cause of values that show as blank in Preview.app or some Android PDF readers even though the data is technically there.
