A drawn signature, not a certified one
This tool places an image of a signature onto the page — functionally the same as printing, signing by hand, and scanning a document back in, just without the paper. It does not create a PKI-backed, cryptographically verifiable digital signature. For most everyday paperwork (a signed form, an initialed page, a lease) that's exactly what's needed; for anything requiring a certified e-signature with an audit trail, use a tool built for that specifically.

Is this a legally binding digital signature?
No. This draws an image of a signature (or typed/uploaded one) onto the page — the same thing as printing a document, signing it by hand, and scanning it back in. Does this upload my PDF or my signature anywhere?
No. Both the document and whatever signature you draw, type, or upload are processed entirely in your browser. Nothing is sent to a server.
What happens if the PDF already has a real digital signature?
Any tool that re-saves a PDF invalidates a pre-existing cryptographic signature — that's true here as anywhere else. You'll see a warning before saving if one is detected.
Can I place the signature on more than one page?
Yes — navigate between pages and place a signature (or reuse the same one) on each page you need.
Does it work on a phone or tablet?
